1. Who this policy covers
Rox Score is an independent HYROX ranking project. This policy covers visitors to rox-score.com and athletes whose publicly available race results appear in the rankings, race archive or start-list tools.
2. Public race and start-list information
Rox Score processes information published in public race-result and start-list sources. Depending on the source, this can include an athlete’s name, nationality, age group, division, event, finish time, rank and start wave. Rox Score uses that information to calculate rankings, explain race points and help athletes understand upcoming fields.
The project’s legitimate interest is to provide an independent statistical view of publicly reported sporting performances. Rox Score does not sell athlete data and does not publish private contact details.
3. Analytics and cookies
Vercel Web Analytics
Rox Score uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregated traffic such as page views, referrers, approximate country, browser and device type. It is designed to operate without advertising cookies and does not create a cross-site visitor profile.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is loaded only after a visitor selects “Accept” on the cookie banner. It can collect page usage, interactions, device information and approximate location and may store identifiers in cookies. Selecting “Decline” leaves Google Analytics disabled.
Consent preference
The chosen consent state is stored locally in the visitor’s browser. A visitor can withdraw consent by clearing site data or cookies for rox-score.com and choosing “Decline” when the banner appears again.
4. Service providers and retention
Rox Score relies on Vercel for hosting and cookieless analytics, Google for optional analytics, and Supabase for the private administrator service and database infrastructure. These providers may process technical data in the countries where they operate under their own privacy and security terms.
Public result information is retained for as long as it remains useful to the ranking, historical comparisons and correction work. Analytics data is retained according to the project configuration and the applicable provider settings.
5. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection concerning personal information associated with you. Requests are reviewed against the public sporting record, legal obligations and the legitimate interests of the project.
6. Security and changes
Rox Score uses encrypted HTTPS connections and limits administrative access to authorised accounts. No online service can guarantee absolute security. This policy may be updated when the site, providers or legal requirements change; the date at the top will show the latest revision.
